Speed Of Tape

This indicator displays speed of tape.

*Note! When setup for the first time, the indicator has the settings by default, and those settings are not suitable for all instruments and time-frames, thus it has to be attuned.

To add and setup the following indicator, open the Indicators Setup window.

Speed of Tape indicator settings:

Colors.

Сolor – the main color of the indicator (speeds that do not exceed the filter values).

Line Width – width of the moving average line.

Max Speed Color – color used to highlight the bars, which exceed the filter values.

Paint Bars – turn on/off the option of painting the bars/candles.

SMA Color – color setup of the moving average in the indicator.

Filters.

Auto Filter Period – averaging period for automatic calculation of the filtration (only works when Auto Filter is enabled).

AutoFilter – turn on/off the automatic calculation of the filtration (recommended for beginners).

Calculation Mode – 5 modes are available:

• Volume
• Ticks
• Buys
• Sells
• Delta

Time filter, sec – period of time, for which the amount of executed trades is calculated, to determine the speed of prints (trading activity).

Trades Filter – minimum quantity of the trades required to highlight the trades for the Time filter period.

Show Legend – display the names in the indicator panel.
