SMA

A technical Indicator Moving Average (MA) shows the average price of an instrument over a certain period of time. When calculating the Moving Average, the price of the instrument is mathematically averaged over the given period. As the price changes, its average value either rises or falls.

Simple Moving Average (SMA) is calculated by summing closing prices for a specific time period (e. g.15М; 1H; Daily) with further division of the obtained sum by the number of periods.

To add and set up this indicator, open the Indicator settings window.

Use alerts - enable alerts

Repeat alert - enable repeat alert

Approximation Filter - the distance in ticks at which the alert is triggered

Show zero values

Show value - display of the indicator value on the left on the price scale. 

Scale - if this option is enabled, the scale will be automatically calculated based on the minimum and maximum values of the indicator so it would fit on the chart.

Color - color setup of the indicator.

Line style - setup of the line display:
