Bollinger Bands - Percentage

Bollinger Bands - Percentage is calculated on the basis of the Bollinger Bands indicator. It is a percentage difference between the current price and Bollinger levels.

Settings

Calculation Mode

  • Bottom Band - comparison of the price with the lower Bollinger level.
  • Middle Band - comparison of the price with the middle Bollinger level.

Period - period of the Bollinger Bands indicator.

Channel Width - channel width between the upper and lower Bollinger levels.

Source - setting of the indicator calculation parameters:

Visualization

Show value - display of the indicator value on the price scale.

Show zero values - display of zero values.

Scale/Auto-scaling - if this option is enabled, the scale will be automatically calculated based on the minimum and maximum indicator values, so that the indicator would fit on the chart.

Automatic coloring of the channel according to the direction of the line (up or down).

▪ The channel is colored green where the lines go up;

The user can customize the colors themselves.
