DT Oscillator

DT Oscillator – the indicator displays a stochastic oscillator based on the Relative Strength Index (RSI) instead of price, which is the main method of the stochastic oscillator calculation.

The indicator has the following parameters:

Relative strength index - period of RSI

Period - period of Stochastic RSI


SMA Period 1/ Moving average period 1 - smoothing of Stochastic RSI.

SMA Period 2/ Moving average period 2 - smoothing of the indicator.


Sourse - setting of the indicator calculation parameters:

  • Open
  • High
  • Low
  • Close
  • Volume


Panel - selection of the indicator location in the chart:

  • New panel
  • Chart

Moving Average, Smoothed Moving Average

Show value - shows the indicator value on the price scale.

Scale - if this option is ON, the scale will be calculated automatically based on the minimum and maximum indicator values, so that the indicator would be accommodated in the chart.


Visual type - visual setting of the indicator display in the chart:

  • Line
  • Histogram
  • Hash
  • Block
  • Cross
  • Square

Line style - setting of the line display style:

  • Dot
