Chaikin Oscillator

The Chaikin Oscillator is the difference between the 3-day and 10-day EMAs of the accumulation distribution line. Like other momentum indicators, this indicator is designed to anticipate directional changes in the accumulation distribution line by measuring the momentum behind the movements.

To add and customize this indicator, you need to open the Indicator Settings Window.

Panel - the choice of the indicator location on the chart:

  • New panel

Chaikin Oscillator

Show zero values - display zero values.

Scale - if this option is enabled, the scale will be automatically calculated based on the minimum and maximum value of the indicator, so that the indicator would fit on the chart.

Color - choose color.

Visual type - visual setting of the indicator display on the graph:

  • Line
  • Histogram
  • Hash
  • Block
  • Cross
  • Square
  • Dots
  • Up arrow
  • Down arrow
  • Axis label
  • Hide

Line style - setting up the type of line display:

  • Dot
  • Solid
  • Dash
  • Dash - dot
  • Dash - dot - dot

Width - set the thickness of the indicator line.


Common

Long period - input long period value in days.

Short period - input short period value in days.

Divisor - input divisor value.

Overbought - input overbought value.

Oversold - input pversold value.
