Connecting to IQFeed

The process of registering Free Trial access to IQFeed (trial access) is described in the article: Registration IQFeed Demo.

Before connecting the IQFeed account in the ATAS platform, please make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest version of the IQFeed client software. It can be downloaded from http://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=support§ion=download (IQFeed (Datafeed)). After installing this program, enter your IQFeed account data, which is specified in the registration email. The same window appears briefly when you click Connect on an added IQFeed connection.

To configure the IQFeed connection to the ATAS platform, choose one of the options:

1. In the main menu of the program, on the
Home tab, select Connections

or

2. Left-click on the connection indicator in the main window of the platform.

Next, the Connection Settings Window will open.

To add a new connection, click Add.

This will open a window with a list of available accounts and quotes sources:

In this window, you select IQfeed and click Next.

In the IQFeed connection window, enter your credentials (login and password), click Finish.

If you do not have a real trading account, you can register a Demo Account. There is a link to the article about this at the top and bottom of this article.

After setting up the connection, it will appear as a separate line in the Connections window. To receive data, click the Connect button. At this point, the IQFeed program window (Datafeed) will appear temporarily.

Once the connection is established, it is ready to use.
